About Me

I fell in love with game design while producing a podcast about video games years back. As I reviewed and analyzed games, I became fascinated by what makes them truly engaging. How gameplay, world design, and player psychology come together. That was the moment I realized this passion could become my career, letting me turn curiosity into craft.

I’m particularly drawn to games that reward player creativity and surprise - where the game keeps offering new discoveries long after you think you’ve seen it all, yet keeps gameplay simple and intuitive. That type of depth and elegance inspires me.

Outside of work, I live in the countryside with my partner, cat, and dog, my little oasis that keeps me grounded. I love long dog walks, running, and training to keep both body and mind in check. Music is another big part of me. I play guitar, produce music, and once toured the world in bands (these days I jokingly call myself a rusty old rock legend). The creative process of writing music reminds me a lot of designing games, balancing pacing, building climaxes, crafting calmer sections, and puzzling all the pieces together into a cohesive experience.

I also enjoy cooking, playing games, and following the gaming industry closely, with a strong interest in analyzing games to understand trends, innovations, and where the industry is heading!
